My Ailing Tummy
The pain in my tummy has been bothering me since last Monday. I can’t pinpoint the exact cause and source as to why it’s giving me such an upset. I’ve suffered heartburn a few months back and 1 doctor gave me meds for GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). Such a mouthful for the likes of me. After the 7 day antibiotic treatment, I never went back to the doctor for a follow-up diagnosis. I guess I’m just a bit too lax once I know how to deal with a certain illness.
Anyway, back to the present time. I’m still figuring out where I felt this gnawing pain in my gut and being hungry even after meals (symptoms of GERD though). I’ve looked up the symptoms over the net and results come back as either stomach flu, heartburn, and other never-heard-of illness which I dare hope is not what it could possibly be.
Alternative? Cut back on acidic foods again. Munch more on oats and wheats (not a big problem since bread is baked more often here in our workplace). Add to that, I’ve considered drinking Lactobacillus again. Yes to Yakult or Chamyto. I’ve included in my “diet” eating yogurt. I’ve added to my grocery list Nestle’s Fruit Selection Yogurt and Yogurt + Jelly. Hopefully I’ll get better before our big game on Friday.
